The title of the post says it all and really I ripped this off of the Dispatch.
http://blog.dispatch.com/schneider/2010/09/2500_days.shtml
That said just think about it and say it out loud where ever you are right now. Two Thousand, five hundred days. Here is my own list much like the one above.
- The Big Ten now has 12 teams and the Big Twelve has 10 teams…??????
- The Reds have made it back to the playoffs!!!!!
- The CBJ actually made the playoffs for the first time ever.
-Reggie Bush has WON……and LOST a Heisman trophy.
- Notre Dame is on it’s 3rd coach and has 1 bowl win vs Hawaii.
-Homebase kids have gone from 0 (Who actually thought that any of us were responsible enough to have kids in 2003?) to 7+(Somebody check my count Kiley,Grant, Blake, Karston, Cooper, Vance, Josie, I know i am forgetting at least one.)
- 2nd graders in Ohio have never had to put up with that one kid in school that thinks its cool to root against everyone else.
- 30 year olds have spent almost 25% of there lives the last 7 years without having to hear how great that school up north is.
WIth all of that said what I am saying is take a moment to let this set in. There may not be another time in our life that M*CH*G*N has sucked this bad. Drink a cold one today and thank the Bucks from the past 7 years that have given us such a great day.
2004 – Thank you Troy Smith for your 150 Rushing yards, 241 passing yards and 2 tds.
2005 – Thank you Anthony Gonzalez (Gonzo) for the catch with 37 seconds left to put OSU in a postion to score the go ahead TD.
2006 – Thank you Antoino Pittman for your 138 yards including your 56 yard TD run to extend the lead to 35-24.
2007 – Thank you Beanie Wells for 222 rushing yards including your 2 TDs.
2008 – Thank you James Laurinitis for your team high 12 tackles and 1 sack that helped hold M*CH*G*N to 7 points.
2009 – Thank you Tate Forcier for being a true Buckeye. No M*CH*G*N player would ever give OSU four interceptions and then fumble the ball so OSU could score a TD. I can only hope that RichRod lets you play again this year!
Side Note: Special thanks to Curt Coleman in this game as well. He tried to play better for OSU with 2 INTs but just could not top Tate’s performance.
